Attendance: Jack Cameron, Police Chief Niel Korte, Fire Chief Mike Hauck, Mr. Vonderhaar and Mr. Ranz
I. Fire
• An ordinance will be on the agenda to donate some old cameras to Lincoln Heights
II. Recreation
• Ordinance on the agenda for a part-time replacement employee
III. Police
• Teen Club Ordinance – made a number of small changes including # of chaperones;
• Recruitment Update – 97 eligible; 4 called and said they wouldn’t be there. 68 showed up, 47 passed. PT scheduled for 9/8/12.
• Vehicle purchase (#5 Camps) Camp Safety inquired about purchasing Car#5 – the Ford Explorer. If sold to them (thru ordinance) no graphics removal, no equipment removal.
• EPC (leave out)
• Ordinance signs (same as 7) - Both Griffin and Gorman need signs indicating when they are closed
• Prescription Drop Box – looking into a State grant for the box; would be placed in the vestibule of the PD; accessible during hours when a clerk was working.
• Griffin Park Sign (same as 5)
